That is why we will moderate all comments and we ask you to observe the following conditions:
1. Tone and topics
The tone of your interactions must be respectful to other users and to any other person or institution. If you want to express disagreement or criticism, you may do so, but make sure it is polite and reasoned. We do not accept insults or derogatory comments on sexual orientation, race, national origin, religion, appearance, disability or age, nor offensive and sarcastic comments or double entendres that could be misinterpreted.
The text of your comment is your calling card: we encourage you check your spelling and write in a clear and simple way, avoiding abbreviations to make communication easier. Remember that writing in uppercase can be interpreted as shouting, so try not to overdo it.
Comments with other elements (such as links, videos, images, etc.) posted in any section on womenalia.com must include at least a few words from the users who publish them. Topics and posts must be relevant to the vision, mission and leadership principles of Womenalia:
a) They must be topics of general interest to the community: economy, current events, legislation, new technologies, market surveys, etc.
b) Members may share personal experiences to help and guide other users.
c) Invitations may be posted to other events, courses, seminars or any other activities by other organizations, in the Events section as long as the events are free of charge. To do so, send the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org: title, summary, description, category (course/workshop, conference, seminar, networking or trade fair), venue, start and end times, and maximum number of participants.
If the event is not free to other users, it must be consulted in advance by e-mail to email@example.com.
d) Users may not publish information to advertise their own business or professional services.
e) Users may not publish information considered unprofessional or inappropriate for the audience of this social network in general or which violates the right to privacy, attacks the honor of third parties or advocates terrorism.
f) Recommendations that fall within the scope of professional medicine, such as advice on how to treat eating disorders or depression, will not be allowed.
g) User participation must not include references that are against Spanish law.
2. Recommendations of products and services
Users will be allowed to recommend products and services they are familiar with through their own personal experience with them. Recommendations with a commercial purpose will not be allowed.
User participation must not interfere with the operation of the tools provided for this purpose. In particular, comments must not be repeated. To avoid repeating information, users should read the conversations before joining them.
Users are solely liable for their comments, and womenalia.com shall not be held liable in any way for the opinions expressed here.
5. Intellectual property
- When users upload content to our site, they voluntarily transfer all rights to Womenalia, except for those that are not legally unrestricted.
- If the intellectual property rights of the content published by the user belong to third parties, the user will be liable for any damages this misuse may cause to womenalia.com.
- womenalia.com may exercise the right to withdraw the contents provided by the users, if such action is requested by a third party who owns the intellectual property rights of that content or if other users deem it to be inappropriate.
Comments posted to womenalia.com will always be moderated in advance. In any case, Womenalia reserves the right to remove, for any reason and without prior notice, content considered inappropriate according to these terms and conditions.
